NEW Teen Group Forms at the RML: TACOS!

September 28, 2019

There's a new group at the library, and if you're a tween or teen ages 10-18, you're invited to join us. The new group is called TACOS, which stands for Teen Advisory Council of Students. At our first meeting, we talked about some ideas for future activities, played a few ice breaker games, and made some really awesome  Sharpie Tie Dye t-shirts.

TACOS is all about tween and teen activities planned by you, for you and your peers. The Children's Librarian is there it help facilitate the meeting, and to help make your program ideas come to life. She also brings the pizza, so there's that, too. Our meetings are informal and starting at our October 24 meeting, will include pizza. We'll also continue with ice breaker games, and do fun activities guided by the groups' interests.

Next TACOS meeting: Thursday, February 27, 2020, from 6pm to 7pm.
